Spending. corporate america likes government spending because it means revenues. all of that money spent, where is it going, people buying junk and when you ve got people on the stimulus plays and hand out money when you expand up employment. people buying more stuff. profits to see on the companies. and it hurts the economy in the long run, but they don t care about 20 years from now, and the corporation would like it if you borrowed money from china and gave everybody a thousand dollars. they like that. okay. kate, do you agree that companies like all of this spending? of course they don t. they re terrified by the spending. the government cannot increase the deficit by four times in this amount of time and expect businesses to be comfortable about their economic future. businesses are uncertain about whether any economic recovery can be sustained because of the massive government spending. they realize that they re going to be the ones stick holding the bag when the government g ....
