HANOVER – Candidates for office in Hanover s election races talked about racial violence, the town s pandemic response and school curriculum concerns during a virtual forum hosted by the Hanover Woman s Club Juniors on Tuesday night. Three candidates – Steve Louko, David Sawin and incumbent David Delaney – are competing for two open seats on the board of selectmen. Three candidates are running for two available seats on the school committee: Ryan Hall and incumbents John Geary and Libby Corbo. Voting in the town election will take place from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, May 8, at Hanover High School, 287 Cedar St. All three selectmen candidates were asked to consider the recent rise in violence and racial tension in the U.S., and asked what their positions are on equity, inclusion and diversity.
