The meeting followed a letter, purportedly written by BR Patil, an MLA from Kalaburagi district and signed by over 10 legislators, expressing their displeasure with the Karnataka Cabinet.

A day after authorising the party s National President Mallikarjun Kharge to pick the next Chief Minister, Karnataka Congress Chief DK Shivakumar and former CM Siddaramaiah will be in New Delhi to meet the party s central leadership.
