As per latest satellite observations, Mumbai city and suburbs are very likely to experience moderate to intense spells of rainfall (2-3cm/hr) during next 3-4 hrs. Shivaji Sutar, Chief Public Relations Officer, Central Railway, Mumbai said train services between CSMT and Thane were suspended as the water was flowing over tracks at Chunabatti, Sion and Kurla. Due to heavy rains in Suburbs and waterlogging at Chunabatti and between Sion- Kurla section, as a precautionary measure, CSMT-Thane mainline services have been suspended from 10.20 am and CSMT-Mankhurd harbour line services have been suspended from 11.10 am, Shivaji Sutar said. ....
