Rencontre avec La Gale À voir aujourd’hui La rappeuse lausannoise La Gale – Karine Guignard de son nom civil – est une figure montante du hip-hop helvétique doublée d’une comédienne qui a déjà joué dans deux productions, De l’encre du duo Hamé et Ekoué, du groupe La Rumeur, ainsi qu’Opération Libertad de Nicolas Wadimoff. Elle a pris en main la sélection des films du Festival international de films de Fribourg (FIFF) présentés cette année dans la section «Diaspora». Cette section demande depuis 2012 à des personnalités aux origines lointaines de choisir les longs-métrages qui évoquent leurs racines. D’origine libano-suisse, La Gale a choisi des films évoquant le Liban et la Palestine. Notamment le très poignant Ghost Hunting de Raed Andoni (à voir aujourd’hui à 11 h 30 à l’Arena ou samedi à 11 h au Rex). Un panorama puissant et engagé, du cinéma pour faire bouger les choses.
