MEXICO CITY, Dec. 12 (Xinhua) The Mexican Army airlifted 15.2 tons of humanitarian aid to Honduras for those affected by the hurricanes Iota and Eta, the Mexican Foreign Ministry reported Saturday.
In a statement, the ministry said that a C-130 Hercules cargo plane from the Mexican Air Force had been responsible for taking the shipment of food and water to the Central American country, which was greatly affected by the two storms in November.
The aircraft took off from the military base at the Mexico City International Airport, after applying controls and sanitary measures to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), the ministry said. ....
