Book sale
The Friends of the Butler Public Library will host the annual book sale Aug. 2-10. Monday, Aug. 9 is $2 bag day. Tuesday, Aug. 10 is freebie day.
Adult take-and-make
A new craft will be introduced the first day of each month.
The August craft will be fairy clothespins.
Fine-free summer
For August, fines will be waived for the first 28 days after the due date, except for mobile hot spots. After the grace period has expired, a replacement cost will be assessed, and the item will be considered lost.

WORTHINGTON The Nobles County Library, 407 12th St., Worthington, is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday. The Adrian Branch Library, 214 Maine Ave., Adrian, is open from noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, noon to 5 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.
Summer Book Sale: The Summer Book Sale is this week during regular business hours on the main level of the library. The sale is open to the public and not restricted to library card holders. There is a variety of adult fiction, science fiction and non-fiction books, young adult books, paperbacks, children s books, audiobooks, CDs and DVDs. Watch for the bag sale at the end of the week! ....
