An Indianapolis man who police say shot his wife and fled in his truck before being arrested in Arkansas last week has been charged with murder, records show.
Gabriel Scott Galvez Roblero, 38, was charged after police found 24-year-old Karen Galvez Hernandez shot to death in the couple s home in the 6800 block of Mimosa Lane on the southeast side of Indianapolis Saturday. The charges were filed a day after the incident.
Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were dispatched to the home shortly before 5 a.m. after receiving a report that Galvez called his ex-wife and told her he had killed his current wife.

INDIANAPOLIS A suspect in a southeast side homicide on Saturday was arrested in Arkansas, IMPD said Monday.
IMPD officers were called to the 6800 block of Mimosa Lane around 5 a.m. Saturday to check the welfare of a person.
When officers arrived, they found a woman who had been shot multiple times. She was pronounced dead shortly after.
On Monday, IMPD announced that the suspect, 38-year-old Gabriel Galvez, was arrested in Randolph County, Arkansas by the Arkansas State Police.
IMPD homicide detectives traveled to Arkansas for a follow-up on the investigation.
The woman was identified by the Marion County coroner as 24-year-old Karen Galvez Hernandez. An IMPD spokesperson confirmed to 13News that the two were husband and wife.
