Nagaland Institute of Medical Sciences and Research building to be completed by May

Kohima: The Independent Committee constituted by the Gauhati High Court, Kohima Bench, for Nagaland Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (NIMSR), stated that the work status reflected in the affidavit submitted by the state is “correct”.  The counsel for the petitioner also submitted that the ongoing work of the medical college has been “correctly projected” in the affidavit by the Independent Committee, a bench of justices Kakheto Sema and Kardak Ete stated while hearing the matter on Wednesday. The Court had on March 15 constituted an Independent Committee to carry out the physical verification of the NIMSR to authenticate the statements of the state respondents in their affidavit with regard to the status report of the medical college building. Accordingly, the Committee on March 22 visited the site and filed the affidavit showing the work progress and status.
