The president of the Supreme Court Bar Association and one of Indiaâs most highly regarded lawyers has said the Supreme Court has âput itself in a cornerâ by its handling of the farm laws.
Dushyant Dave, who is also one of the three lawyers assisting the farmers groups, said that by seeking to arbitrate between the farmers and the government the Supreme Court has âstepped into the political arenaâ. He said itâs surprising judges should have made up their mind to do so without hearing anyone.
