[cheers and applause] ryan: mary j. and the all-star band, ladies and gentlemen. whoo! now here is simon s report from the children s help fund. take a look at this. simon: two years ago i visited the children s health fund in the bustling metropolis of new york city. this time i traveled to one of the most rural and poorest regions of the country, douglas, arizona. always good to actually see where the money is being spent, what difference it s made in people, and i hear we re going to meet a very, very special doctor, dr. john, who is like the local saint. before dr. john came to douglas two years ago, this community didn t have a pediatrician. with the help of the children s health fund and past donations, dr. john is heading up the southern arizona program. with the unit, we can finally go out to those populations that have a lot of kids that don t have a doctor. we re going to go to them. simon: amazing, amazing. on ....
