A classic is finally making the leap to Blu-ray in Japan with The Adventures of the Little Prince. The thirty-nine episode series, based on the classic work that has seen a range of adaptations around the world over the years, is scheduled for a March 31st, 2021 debut through TC Entertainment. They’re bringing it out as a two-disc set priced at 28,000 yen which will include the unreleased pilot version as a bonus. The set is being produced with an HD negative scan to achieve unprecedented high image quality and the set will also include a booklet. The Japanese audio is being done in monaural form and the 4:3 video in pillar box form. ....
