Kangana Ranaut said her acclaimed drama Queen wouldn't be as successful today because streaming platforms have eaten into the existing audience base of cinema halls.
Kangana Ranaut's recent release 'Tejas' also failed at the box office. The film was made with a budget of around Rs 70 crores and could not even collect Rs 6 crores at the box office. After this, the makers were forced to sell the film at a meager rate to an OTT platform.
Kangana Ranaut and R. Madhavan have commenced filming a psychological thriller in Chennai, India. The film is directed by Vijay, who previously worked with Ranaut on the biopic Thalaivii. Ranaut expressed her excitement about working with Vijay again and said that the script is very unusual and exciting.
