ST ANN, Jamaica Eight American cruise ship passengers who were taken into custody after they allegedly tried to leave Jamaica with US$850,000 worth of cocaine on November 9, were convicted of posses.
Eight Americans were convicted for breaches of the Dangerous Drugs Act when they appeared before the St Ann Parish Court on Tuesday, November 29.

Fond memories of Love Lane Primary School, Cowes, were triggered recently when a photo from the school in the 1980s was emailed to the County Press office. Cindy Yelling nee Blyth is the daughter of Mrs Vi Blyth, who taught at the school for many years. Cindy now lives in New Zealand and sent the County Press some of her mum s photos.
