CocoNene celebrated the grand opening Monday of its new store at the Kīhei Kalama Village.
The store known for its made-in-Hawaiʻi products lost its flagship location on Front Street during the Aug. 8 Lahaina wildfire.
When asked how business has been since the Lahaina fire, Carlos Montano, owner of The Sun Spot in Kihei, pointed to his cash register log, which showed $0.00.
Less than 90 days after losing their flagship store in the Lāhainā wildfire, CocoNene is bouncing back with the opening of a new location at the Waikōloa Kings’ Shops on the Big Island.
