Breaking news out of south africa where the judge in the Oscar Pistorius murder trial has ordered the olympic track star to undergo an evaluation for mental illness. The move will likely delay the trial for more than a month. The judge argues that a psychological evaluation would ensure that pistorius gets a fair trial. Pistorius has admitted to shooting his girlfriend, viva steenkamp, last year. A psychiatrist told the court this week that he suffered from an anxiety disorder. Investors, who have been pouring money into stocks, drove the dow up to its fourth record close this year 16,715. And have a look at this in 2009, the dow bottomed out during the Great Recession at 6,547. Well, it is now two and a half times higher. And the s p 500, a broader measure of stocks, closed today at a record 1,897, but at one point it was even higher. More now from anthony mason.
