Valedictorian Ty McConn and Salutatorian Kailee Love EARLY – Ty McConn earned valedictorian honors while Kailee Love will represent Early High School’s Class of 2021 as its salutatorian. Early’s graduation is slated for 8 p.m. Friday, May 21 at Longhorn Stadium. McConn, the son of Larry and Kari McConn, said of the valedictorian accolade, “It’s a great honor. I’ve worked very hard in all four of my years with my studies and to help others. It’s a really great honor to be recognized for all the hard work I’ve put in. We get our reports each semester and I noticed I’ve been at the top, so it’s something that I knew was attainable and achievable for me.” ....

Ty McConn Ty Rider McConnTy is the son of Larry and Kari McConn. During his time at Early High School, McConn has been involved in National Honor Society, Student Council, Future Problem Solving, Community Problem Solving, UIL, and has been a member of the EHS Band Drumline. Academically, McConn has been named the Outstanding Student in Advanced Biology, English I, Advanced World Geography, and Audio/Video Production. ....

Early (10-3-1, 1-0) – fresh off five wins and a tie at the Llano tournament over the weekend – continued its stellar play. “We’re on a pretty good roll,” said Early head coach Alfonso Chavez. “I’ve got a lot of young players that are starting to play some really good ball. We came into today and our main goal today was being patient at the plate, and being patient was a big thing today.” ....
