Capital City’s offense could not be stopped Friday. After scoring 12 runs Thursday, the Cavaliers put up a 21-5 win against the Rolla Bulldogs and a 5-3 win Friday against the St. Charles West Warriors at Capital City High School.
The Cavaliers kept adding on. Capital City scored multiple runs in each of the final four innings Monday to beat the Blair Oaks Falcons 10-3 at Capital City High School. The win marks the fifth in a row for the Cavaliers, while ending a three-game winning streak for the Falcons, who have now won five of their last seven games.
Capital City rebounded from two losses Friday to take two wins Saturday during the Jays Baseball Classic. Capital City started its day with a 9-4 win against the Pembroke Hill Raiders, then the Cavaliers beat the Lutheran: St. Charles Cougars 15-10 with both games at Capital City High School.
