The losing streak is over. After 14 games and more than a month, the Jefferson City Jays walked away with a win Wednesday, beating the Capital City Cavaliers 9-6 in Central Missouri Activities Conference action at Vivion Field.
The Cavaliers kept adding on. Capital City scored multiple runs in each of the final four innings Monday to beat the Blair Oaks Falcons 10-3 at Capital City High School. The win marks the fifth in a row for the Cavaliers, while ending a three-game winning streak for the Falcons, who have now won five of their last seven games.
