Vanguard News Labour suspends planned strike, protest in Kano, agree on terms On By Abdulmumin Murtala FOLLOWING an earlier announced three-day strike scheduled to commence on Thursday, April 8, 2021, by workers in Kano, protesting the reversion to the former minimum wage of N18,000 from the new minimum wage of N30,600, the Kano council of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, has announced the suspension of the industrial action after reaching some agreements with the government. Organised Labour also announced the suspension of a planned peaceful protest scheduled for Monday, April 12, 2021.
