Fire hydrant test along Ka'iminani Drive Tues night | KWXX

The Department of Water Supply will conduct a fire hydrant flow test along Kaiminani Drive starting at 11:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 29, 2020, to around midnight. This test ensures the water volume is sufficient to fight fires.
The affected area includes customers along Ka’iminani Drive between Queen Ka’ahumanu Highway and Pao’o Street, the Natural Energy Laboratory of Hawaii, and including Kahilihili Street and all the side roads and lanes.
According to Cody Banks, Lead Pipe Fitter with Department of Water Supply, said customers will not have any disruption in the water supply. However, customers in the affected area may experience slightly discolored and turbid, murky, and aerated water for several hours after the test. ....
