Popular playback singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, fondly known as KK, passed away after a concert in Kolkata. He was 53 years old. KK gave a performance at Nazrul Mancha, Kolkata on Tuesday and later went to his hotel where he fell ill. The playback singer collapsed after the concert and was rushed to a private hospital in the city. He was "brought dead" to Kolkata's CMRI Hospital around 10 pm, hospital authorities told India Today TV. KK was one of the most versatile singers in the Indian film industry.
