The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has attached assets worth over Rs 150 crore linked to former West Bengal food minister Jyoti Priya Mallick and two others in a PDS ration "scam" money laundering case. The accused, including Mallick, his alleged aide Bakibur Rahaman, and TMC leader Shankar Adhya, have been arrested by the agency. The attached assets comprise 48 immovable properties, including Mallick s house in Salt Lake and Bolpur, as well as "benami properties" held by associates.
