A wanted man is behind bars and suspected narcotics are off the street after a Guernsey County Sheriff s K-9 alerted to a vehicle stopped by a State Highway Patrol trooper on Interstate 77 late Thursday night.
Justin N. Martin, 31, Akron, remained incarcerated in the Guernsey County Jail on the felony warrant issued in another county.
Meanwhile, the suspected narcotics were sent to the highway patrol s laboratory for testing. Felony charges are expected to be filed once the testing is complete.
A 33-year-old male passenger who also resides in Akron was released by troopers after being questioned. The suspected narcotics are believed to have been in the possession of the man prior to the discovery by authorities.
