Wood River man charged 3 times in one week

EDWARDSVILLE A Wood River man was hit with felony charges on three separate days this week.
On Thursday, Justin G. Rodewald, 33, of Wood River, was charged with aggravated fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer and driving while license revoked, both Class 4 felonies.
The case was presented by the Alton Police Department. According to court documents, on April 2 Rodewald allegedly attempted to flee from an Alton Police Officer, reaching speeds of more than 20 miles over the posted speed limit, and had a revoked license.
His bail was set at $15,000.

Cases filed April 7 include:
• Steven M. Littler, 31, and Jacqueline A. Williamson, 32, both of St. Louis, were each charged with burglary and retail theft over $300, both Class 3 felonies. The case was presented by the Granite City Police Department. According to court documents, on Oct. 5 the two allegedly entered a locked display cabinet at the Granite City Walmart, 379 W. Pontoon Road, to commit theft, and took in excess of $300 worth of video games and two storage totes. Bail was set at $20,000 each.
• Jennifer J. Schuetz, 42, of Wood River, and Craig K. Miller, 45, of Wood River, were both charged with unlawful use of credit card, both Class 4 felonies. The cases were presented by the Wood River Police Department. On Oct. 6 the two allegedly used the credit card of another person to obtain clothing and household items valued less than $300. Alton man faces burglary, auto theft charges

EDWARDSVILLE Burglary and auto theft charges were filed against a number of people in unrelated cases Monday by the Madison County State’s Attorney’s Office.
Scott R. Beers, 55, of Alton, was charged April 5 with residential burglary, a Class 1 felony, and burglary, a Class 2 felony.
The case was presented by the Madison County Sheriff’s Department.
According to court documents, on March 25 Beers allegedly entered a residence and detached garage in the 1000 block of W. Delmar Avenue, Godfrey, to commit theft.
Bail was set at $50,000.
