Singapore Marks 100,000 Cruise Passengers Since November Dream Cruises welcomes the 100,000th guest since the beginning of the cruise pilot program at the Marina Bay Cruise Centre in Singapore. The small city-state has been involved in a pilot program that allows both Dream Cruises and Royal Caribbean to operate one vessel each in Singaporean waters, with Singaporean guests. Since the pilot started on November 6, 2020, onboard World Dream, the program has been incredibly successful and without incident. Dream Cruises welcomed the 100,000th guest onboard World Dream earlier this week. ....

Royal Caribbean Cruise Ship Will Remain Sailing From Singapore Royal Caribbean has announced the extension of Quantum of the Seas‘ season in Singapore. The island nation is one of the few countries where cruising has been allowed to proceed successfully for the last few months. Royal Caribbean Cruises’ decision was expected as Quantum of the Seas was initially scheduled to reposition to Alaska for the summer season. Canada’s ongoing year-long extension of a cruise ban to Canadian waters means foreign vessels cannot make cruises to Alaska this year. The cruise line has been exceedingly successful with 2-3-4-day cruises from Singapore, which are limited to Singapore inhabitants. ....
