LIBERTY TOWNSHIP - The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a single vehicle crash that killed a Johnstown man on Sunday. According to a press release, troopers were called to U.S. 62 near Cooper Road in Liberty Township around 10:03 p.m. Sunday for a crash. The agency said Justin Smallwood, 26, of Johnstown, was driving a 2006 Acura TSX eastbound on U.S. 62 when it lost control and drove off the north side of the road, rolling multiple times. OSHP said Smallwood was ejected from the vehicle, and was taken to Mount Carmel East by Marion Township EMS, where he later died from his injuries.
