Georgia lawmakers had their hands full on Monday as another Crossover Day came to a close.
Crossover Day is when bills need to advance in the House or Senate to have a shot at passing this session.
The 28th day of the 40-day legislative session is the last day for bills to move from one chamber to the other that is, to cross over and still have a clear path to becoming law this year.
The Georgia Senate members went home before 8 p.m. but members of the Georgia House remained on the floor until 11 p.m. ....

Lin Wood is now under investigation by none other than his arch-nemesis, Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger. This comes after Wood apparently mentioned in an email that he’s been living in South Carolina for “several months.” Investigators are now probing whether or not Wood was a legal resident when he voted in the recent elections.

Atlanta ABC affiliate WSB-TV was first to report that attorney Lin Wood, who spent the past three months howling conspiracy theories about vote fraud in Georgia, is under state investigation for possible illegal voting in the 2020 election. The attorney is now a resident of South Carolina. But for exactly how long is unclear.
“I have been domiciled in South Carolina for several months after purchasing property in the state in April,” Wood wrote to WSB reporter Justin Gray. Gray, who broke the story, posted the message online yesterday. ....
