Lets get the very latest now on the storm. It has been battering the florida keys all morning long. But its center just made official landfall there at 9 10 a. M. Eastern time. Utility officials in florida now say more than 1 million customers have lost power as irma has hammered that state. That number is expected to keep rising throughout whats going to be a long day down there. And to give you an idea how big the storm is, a Tropical Storm warning was just issued for atlanta, georgia. A number of people without power is increasing by the power. When we first came on the air at 6 00 east coast time. This morning, 200,000 people without power. That number is now over 1 million.
