The Coroner Inquest sitting on the death of singer and songwriter, Ilerioluwa Aloba, more commonly called MohBad, has been stalled by the ongoing nationwide strike by the Nigeria Labour Congress and the Trade Union Congress of Nigeria. The Chief Coroner of Lagos State, Hon. Justice M.A Dada had in September directed an inquest into the death of Mohbad who died in mysterious circumstances on September 12, 2023 and was buried the following day.

Late Nigerian rapper and singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has been given a free casket, pallbearers, and horns men, among others for his second burial. This was revealed by a popular actress, Iyabo Ojo via a post on her Instagram who claimed that the items need for MohBad were given by the Chief Executive Officer of Ebony Vaults, a funeral home in Ikoyi, Lagos State gratuitously.

The Chief Coroner of Lagos State, Hon. Justice M.A Dada has directed an inquest into the death of Nigerian musician Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad. This is according to a letter addressed to a Lagos-based legal firm, Festus Ogun Legal on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, following a series of requests earlier submitted to the Chief Coroner on the same matter.
