While directing a section of people who had been hired illegally to refund money paid as salary within four weeks, a two-judge bench also ordered the board to conduct a fresh round of recruitment.
The division bench of Calcutta HC, led by Justice Debangsu Basak, also ordered fresh recruitment against the posts within 15 days. TMC leader Kunal Ghosh has termed the order "unfortunate".
