NCLT Delhi dismissing a petition for initiation of CIRP held that pending interest amount does not amount to “debt” for initiation of CIRP when the principal amount is paid by the debtor.
NCLT held that an operational credit cannot be converted into a financial debt if the financial creditor is not eligible to advance a loan as per Section 186 of the Companies Act.
