and i think not just as a jushgs but jew but as an american even more so. some of the clips you showed it is getting quite extreme. it is useful because it takes the mask off of what was under the surface of a lot of what we ve seen. there is a lot of americans out there who have human sympathy for palestinian civilians caught in the crossfire. this is not that. this is glorifying violence and not calling for free palestinian, this is calling for destroy israel. and most tellingly as you showed in your clip, it is for death to america, destroy america, too, which i think shows that this is add its core, this virulent edge of protest is not really about israel or palestinian. this is about arguments and very deep fissures in american society projected and used to
through the end of the fiscal year. but the bottom line is, they are talking about funding the department of homeland security for a few months which jay johnson said doesn t work. i know some are comtemplating some form of short- term cr, for the department of homeland security to get us to march. that is in my judgment, a very bad idea for homeland security, because during that period of a cr, we can t engage in new starts. jushgs speaker john boehner said the president going around congress complicates everything on capitol hill and expressed frustration earlier. this is a serious, breach of our constitution, it is it a serious threat to our system of government and frankly, we have limited options and limited abilities to deal with it
