MTAR share price: MTAR ready for a ride to the moon! Handsome listing gain likely on Monday

NEW DELHI: Sky s the limit! IPO investors of MTAR Technologies, which makes engines for India’s rocket programme, will hope for this maxim to come true on Monday as they will be eyeing a handsome listing gain. And, trends are in their favour.
Going by the demand in unofficial market for unlisted shares, also called grey market, the scrip is likely to list at a premium of around 84-86 per cent over the issue price. The stock will debut at 10 am on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) on March 15.
Abhay Doshi, a dealer of unlisted shares and founder of UnlistedArena, said the grey market premium (GMP) of MTAR Tech is stable at Rs 495. Similarly, another dealer, Dinesh Gupta of UnlistedZone said the GMP is in the range of Rs 485-490. ....

The ₹596-crore initial public offer of MTAR Technologies has been subscribed 200.79 times on the final day of bidding, on over-whelming response from all the three category of investors.
The issue received total bids for 1.46 billion shares as against 7.26 million shares on the offer, according to subscription data available on the exchanges.
Retail and non-institutional investors portions were subscribed 28.38 times and 650.79 times, respectively. While, qualified institutional buyers portion was subscribed 164.99 times.
With a subscription of 200.79, MTAR Technologies ranks second after Astron Paper & Board Mill Ltd which was subscribed 243.29 times. ....

MTAR Tech IPO subscription status: MTAR IPO subscribed 4.2 times on Day 2 of bidding process

NEW DELHI: The Rs 596 crore MTAR Technologies initial public offer (IPO) continued to see strong investor response, with the issue getting subscribed by over 10 times on Day 2 of the bidding process.
By 5 pm, the issue had received bids for 4,59,11,216 shares, which was 10.27 times the issue size of 72,60,694 shares. The issue was subscribed 3.68 times till the end of Day 1 bidding process.
The IPO, which consists of a fresh issue of shares worth Rs 124 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of Rs 473 crore worth of shares, is being sold in the Rs 574-575 price band. At this price band, the issue is demanding a P/E multiple of 47.3 times FY21 EPS of Rs 12.20, on an annualised basis. ....
