BISMARCK, ND. (NewsDakota.com) – Sophomore Nolan Nenow blasted home three goals Thursday night in Bismarck as the Jays picked up a 3-1 victory over the Demons.
Jamestown trailed 1-0 after two but Nenow went to work in the final 17 minutes scoring his 20th, 21st and 22nd goals of the season.
Jamestown Junior Goalie Brode Hillstrom came up with 36 saves including 20 in the third period as Bismarck outshot the Jays 37-25.
The Blue Jays finish the regular season at 13-3 and head into tournament time as the #3 seed for the West Region.
Jamestown will host Bottineau-Rugby in the first round Tuesday, February 16 at Wilson Arena. The Jays defeated the Braves twice during the regular season 5-4 and 6-4.

The Blue Jay hockey team went undefeated in January and they started the new month Monday night with a 7-1 victory over Williston at Wilson Arena.
Sophomore Brooks Roaldson jump-started Jamestown with his 4th goal of the season 59 seconds into the game, thanks to a nifty feed from Junior Hunter Nelson.
After that, it became a battle of goalies as the 1-0 score stood up through two periods.
