Bonnie M. Richards, 97, died Saturday Dec. 12, 2020 at Embasy Health Care of Loyalsock, Montoursville, where she had resided for several years.
Born at Williamsport, on Oct. 23, 1923, she was the daughter of the late William P. and Susan L. Maynard (nee Flowers) Quay. She and her husband, Charles M. Richards, were longtime residents of Syracuse, N.Y. Bonnie and Chuck married Nov. 9, 1945 and celebrated 50 years of marriage before Chuck’s death on May 25, 1996. She returned to Williamsport in 2009 to be near family.
Bonnie was a homemaker and bookkeeper for Chuck’s business. She enjoyed golfing at Pompey and Drumlins country clubs near Syracuse and bowling, both of which she engaged in into her 80s. She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Williamsport and Saint Alban Episcopal Church in Syracuse. ....
