Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The Juneau Community Foundation has news on the latest round of Juneau Hope Endowment Fund and City and Borough of Juneau Social Service Grant Program awards.
Executive Director Amy Skilbred said on Action Line that they are now announcing the seventh year of these grants.  She said it s been about $2 Million a year since 2015.  So over $14 Million has gone out to social service and health non-profits in Juneau since that time.
This year 24 organizations are receiving grants that total $2.1 million.  Skilbred said the grants will cover mental health, suicide prevention, domestic violence, substance misuse abuse, hospice, homelessness, health, and education. ....
