Local doctor charged with sexual assault is arrested in New Mexico

Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - Juneau Police announce the arrest of a local doctor on multiple sexual assault charges and a charge of harassment.
The department announces that a Juneau Grand Jury indicted Dr. Jeffrey Fultz on April 8 and a $25,000 warrant was issued for his arrest.
The investigation commenced on April 30 of last year when a 34-year-old female Juneau resident reported she was sexually assaulted by a local medical professional.
The victim reported to police that she had been receiving medical care from the 57-year-old Dr. Fultz, at a medical clinic in the 3200 block of Hospital Drive.
While receiving treatment, the victim reported Dr. Fultz allegedly engaged in nonconsensual sexual contact with her. During the course of the investigation, at least two other female victims came forward and provided similar allegations. ....

One suspected arsonist behind bars

Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - One of the suspected arsonists in the case of a vehicle that was torched at Skater s Cabin last August is behind bars.
Forty-year-old Brenda Jay Gallant was arrested Wednesday afternoon following a traffic stop in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway on an outstanding $2,500 Alaska State Trooper Warrant for Arson in the Third Degree.
According to a Juneau Police bulletin 40-year-old Ofa Ki Mataki Kivalu was arrested at the same time for hindering prosecution. Both were jailed at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
At last report, the other woman charged in the arson case, 23-year-old Patricia L. Jesus, remains at large. ....

Juneau man arrested for sending explicit material to minor

JPD arrested Willard on the 26th.
Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - Randy James Willard, 35 years old and of Juneau, was arrested on January 26 for second- and third-degree sexual abuse of a minor and distribution of indecent material to a minor.
In March of 2020, the Juneau Police Department received reports that Willard was sending sexually explicit material to a 15-year-old female Juneau resident. JPD began an investigation into the situation, and after it was completed, referred the case to the Juneau District Attorney s Office.
A Juneau Grand Jury indicted Randy James Willard on the charges of sexual abuse of a minor in the second degree, a class B felony, sexual abuse of a minor in the third degree, a class C felony and distribution of indecent material to minors, a class C felony, said a press release from JPD s Lt. Krag Campbell. Following the indictment, a $10,000 warrant was issued for Willard s arrest. ....
