five people in modesto is in dud in san jose. 30-year-old martin martinez caught in the south bay this morning after a statewide manhunt. reporter: 30-year-old mar contain martinez, as you mentioned, is behind bars right now here at santa clara county jail. last night, police launched a statewide manhunt for him. today he was arrested this morning, at a parking lot in oak ridge mall. martin martinez is accused of killing five people in this modesto home. relatives say one of the victims is dr. amanda cruz a physician withstand slaus county health service agency. relatives say he also killed his own daughter a six month old daughter he fathered with cruz. right now police are not releasing the names of the victims, just their ages. we have identified that all the victims inside are female. all of them are related. and the children are from ages 6 months to 6 years. neighbors are heart broken. our children are so precious. someone would make a children s lives there m
