Primary results could settle some election races Posted May 01, 2021 There are several contested municipal elections around Perry County that could be settled in the primary on May 18, while others simply set up a general election contested race for November, according to the candidates listed with the county Elections and Voter Registration office. Marysville’s council is a prime example of a race that could be settled in the primary. It has three four-year seats up for grabs in the election with no Democratic candidates, but four Republicans vying for a seat. The candidates are: John D. Edkin Sr., Alexandria Snyder, David I. Magee and Leigh Ann M. Urban.
