She was born on April 2, 1920 in the Town of Wilna, daughter of Ralph J. and Rose M. (Wilcox-Jonas) Jones. While attending high school she worked at Fox’s Drug Store in Carthage. Alice graduated from Augustian Academy, Carthage, NY on June 19, 1938, 2nd in her class of 32 with a Regents diploma. ....
