happen across the country. this particular project is wonderful. it is serving those who have been on the streets along time. there are folks who have really suffered. we do not want to forget them as young girl men and women are coming home. we do not want to forget the folks who have been on the streets along time a long time. they have aged beyond their years. we want to help them. this is the type of program that does it. does it with special plans. the whole program has built over 1 million units in 20 years. it is a fabulous program. it helps extremely low income people all the way to home ownership for people just beginning. this is an incredible example of that. the couple of days ago, the president made a huge announcement about housing. one thing that does not get as much play in the press is the focus on the very poor. he made a $1 billion commitment to the first affordable housing trust fund. he has said it will be included in his budget in a few weeks to ....

the economy has tanker it is not that there is no food, there is no money to buy food. there are not a lot of jobs. a lot of people were displaced. it is a largely tourism-based area. with that kind of damage, i can relate to that area we are largely tourism-based area. we re going to have profound effects like they are. they re looking for assistance. we are trying to corner with an organization which, those of you who know what it is, will probably slap me around and for doing this simplified explanation, but it is like craigslist for humanitarian 8. aid. there are some challenges. it is in turkey, so there are logistical challenges that along with that. it is possible and i think we will be able to move ahead with that. we left them with a number of suggestions, recommendations. i will not go through them point by point, but i will say they are acting on some of them as appropriate. some of our takeaways, i m going to be a little bit selfish and talk about some of ....

language properly. for a certain dialect of spanish, you have to translate it into english. that is not the job of the sfpd. and then you create problems when you try to translate some of its report into english and then take a report out of it to possibly be used in a court of law. throwing out 1200 cases related to tainted dna and other items. you re just creating amount of paperwork here that is going nowhere. i think part of citizenship and part of a citizens obligation is that if they want to fill out a police report, go to a translator, fill out a report, and then take it to the sfpd in both versions would be a better way to go. there are translating departments in every community of this city, as far as i know. but to have a policeman waiting to translate whatever language that you happen to speak, that is not english, that is not part of the policeman s profile or the city and county profile, and if you looked at the break down in cost for languages in this city ....
