An Anne Arundel County Circuit Court judge on Thursday blocked an order that would have limited restaurants there to outdoor dining, carryout and delivery, just hours before the order would have taken effect.
Last week, County Executive Steuart Pittman issued an executive order that barred all sit-down dining. The order was revised Thursday morning to allow outdoor dining as long as half of all tent sides are down and proper safety protocols are followed.
The ruling by Judge William C. Mulford III keeps intact other provisions of Pittman s order, including restrictions on social gatherings and tightened occupancy restrictions at stores and churches. ....
