A highly controversial case that has been the source of considerable courtroom drama in Alameda County in recent months has ended with a sentence that is unlikely to feel like justice for the families of three murder victims.
The triple-murder trial of Delonzo Logwood was already a hornet’s nest after a judge threw out a plea deal and Alameda County DA Pamela Price tried to remove him from the case, and now that same judge has agreed to dismiss two of the three murder charges against Logwood.
