As the month of May enters, the pilgrimage season in Antipolo City begins.
But for the second time since the quarantine restrictions were imposed in 2020, the once lively Maytime Festival honoring the 17th century-old image of the Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage housed in the Antipolo Cathedral will not be happening again.

There has been no mention on the social media sites of the Antipolo City government about activities pertaining to the Maytime Festival this year.
But the Antipolo Cathedral, through its official Facebook page, the Birhen ng Antipolo-Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage, announced that the opening of the pilgrimage season will happen on May 4, 2021, with Holy Masses (live on Facebook) at 6 a.m., 8 a.m., 10 a.m., and 12 noon, 4 p.m., 6 p.m. ....
