A buyer from Waterbury has purchased the former Shamrock Pub & Grill property in Waterbury with plans for opening a restaurant.
“It was a sound investment to see if we can do a restaurant,” said Juan Maposito, of Waterbury.
Maposito is principal of 210 Meadow LLC, the entity that paid $310,000 for the 5,596-square-foot building on one-fifth of an acre at 210 Meadow St. Maposito said he is still contemplating what type of restaurant. It could be a diner, but he is strongly considering Mexican. ....
