LEELANAU COUNTY, MICH. A new nationwide St. Patrick’s Day commercial prominently features some beloved Northern Michigan landmarks.
This week Carhartt and Guinness debuted the minute-long TV spot, which includes iconic Leelanau Peninsula scenes such as Leland’s Fishtown fishing village and Northport’s historic Grand Traverse Lighthouse, according to the Leelanau Ticker.
The commercial’s message, “Make your own parade this year,” encourages people to safely celebrate the upcoming holiday as it falls during the continuing pandemic. ....
