LANA MUTHLER/THE EXPRESS Hundreds of people, many of them young men and women in their early 20’s, turned out Wednesday afternoon to say good-bye to a special friend, Jakob L. Haines, 21, of Beech Creek, who died tragically last Friday night. Vehicles filled the large parking lot and beyond at Beech Creek Wesleyan Church on Main Street in Beech Creek, for hours as long lines of visitors waited at the front door of the church to enter and pay their respects. Haines is the son of Jason Lee Haines of Beech Creek and Patricia (Olshefskie) and Joseph L. Kreitz of Mill Hall. He will be remembered for his handsome smile, love of the outdoors and spending time with friends and family. ....
