The Chief Executive Officer of Omolamina Global Ventures Limited (OGL), Kamorudeen Lamina, popularly called ‘Sir K’, has denied any involvement in land grabbing in Lagos State. He also described media reports that he was threatening the Jiboro family over a land tussle in the Ikorodu part of the state as blackmail. The Jiboro family had accused Kamorudeen of threatening to kill them “one by one over eight plots of land which Sir K Oluwo fraudulently acquired from their family.”
The family of Jiboro in Lagos State has petitioned the Nigerian government and different police departments alleging that land grabbers led by one Lamina Kamorudeen a.k.a Sir K Oluwo, forcefully took over their land and also destroyed properties worth millions of naira. The parcels of land in question, according to the petitioners, are located in Ikorodu area of the state.
