A man was arrested Friday on suspicion of fatally shooting another man in an apartment complex in downtown Tucson Thursday night. Andre Michael Lee, 57, was declared dead after Tucson police officers found Lee with gunshot trauma in an apartment complex and rendered aid to him, according to a statement released Friday by Tucson Police. The incident happened at about 11:30 p.m. in the area of Sixth Avenue and Congress Street, according to the statement. Through interviews and evidence recovered at the scene, detectives identified the suspect as 32-year-old Joseph Paul Cavanagh, the statement said. Detectives believe that Lee and Cavanagh were involved in a verbal confrontation in the hallway of the apartment complex, according to the statement. ....
